The Riverstone Chardonnay is brassy yellow in color, with Arroyo Seco appellation terroir-based aromas of peach pie, green apricots, bosc pear, lime and wet stones. This wonderful fruit is complemented by a buttery, toasty, vanilla oak bouquet from the barrel fermentation and sur lie aging. The flavors echo the aromas with stone fruits, pear, butter, and toasty oak, producing layers of complexity with an excellent balance of acidity and palate weight making it ideal for pairing with richly textured fish and shellfish or cream sauced pasta dishes.
