Ingredients

2 1/2 oz (73.93 mL) Cachaca 51
1/2 lime
1 teaspoon sugar

Preparation

Mash a cut-up lime and sugar together in an old-fashioned glass. Fill with crushed ice to the top. Add the Cachaça 51. Add additional sugar to desired taste if needed. 

The classic caipirinha uses lime, but you can experiment with other tropical fruit. Try mango, pineapple,or açaí.
