Since 1962, Herradura has been proud to offer this delicious aged tequila. Barrelling for two years in oak (twice as long as suggested by the category standards) gives it both a deep amber color and complex taste of cooked agave and dried fruit.

This Tequila neatly balances flavours of wood and cooked agave, with vanilla, caramel, and hints of coffee; creating a beautiful bouquet of flavours in the mouth and confirming the aroma. Its color is a bright yet dark amber colour with and hints of gold, a result of the aging process. It possesses a great body with notes of boiled agave, raw agave, cinnamon and fruits, like pear.

The bouquet features wonderful aromas of caramel, cream, pastry dough and nutmeg with a background hint of honeyed peanuts. Entry is spicy and full-bodied; the midpalate displays a trace of vanillin that supports the more vibrant flavors of brine, salt, green vegetable and green pepper. Finishes clean, a touch smoky and delicately spiced. A classic a?ejo Tequila. Delicious.
